Wall mount lights in this category range from abstractly designed patterns and shapes, to more concrete depictions of Southwestern Lighting themes like sunbursts and drum outlines. Each of these clay sconces is created by a FABBY ceramic artisan who mixes the material with water and other compounds, and hand pours the clay matter into a slip cast. Patterns on wall mount lights are traced and cut out by hand prior to the bisque firing, which gives each or our wall sconce lights their trademark white color. 

All ceramic wall sconce lights are UL Listed for safety and shipped with great care to guarantee intact delivery. Each Southwestern Lighting sconce is paintable with acrylic or basic latex paints, and wall light fixtures can be dry cleaned using medium grit sand paper.

Southwestern Lighting by FABBY features a collection of ceramic wall sconce lights with “Four Corners” flair. Drawing on inspiration from the American Southwest, these wall light fixtures combine smart design and artistic detail embodied in the form of clay sconces. 

Abstract shapes, patterns and depictions of solar rays are all featured characteristics of wall mount lights found in this category. On top of Southwestern themed designs, the bisque fired white gives these wall sconce lights a feeling reminiscent of adobe style homes found in the desert regions of the United States.

It only makes sense that these wall mount lights be created from earthenware clay, as their inspiration is drawn from a region so heavily influenced by traditions in ceramic art. Clay sconces from FABBY are handcrafted by experienced ceramic artisans in our Southern California based Los Angeles studio. Southwestern Lighting fixtures, like all of our wall sconce lights, start out as white earthenware clay that is combined with just the right balance of water and other compounds to create a slip. From there, the mixture is hand poured into custom slip casts until the correct amount of moisture is extracted, and then removed to dry for a twenty-four hour period. The final step is a four hour bisque fire, responsible for the pleasing white color of our wall light fixtures.
