Each children’s light by FABBY is an American made, handcrafted product that combines the loveliness of ceramic art with smart, innovative design. At our headquarters in Los Angeles, California, each of our children’s lamps, children’s ceiling lights and youth wall sconces starts from a modest slab of white earthenware clay which, despite its name, actually starts out in a light gray color. From here, clay is prepared and hand poured into custom plaster slip casts for molding and moisture removal. Finally, the light gray earthenware is bisque fired at the optimal temperature, humidity and pH levels to produce a finished, milky white colored children’s light.

Although striking in their natural white hue, ceramic kid’s lights can also be re-colored using quality latex or acrylic paints. This feature makes customized shades a cinch, and many of our customers have opted for the extra pop of color through painting.
